When I first got sick I ended up losing most of my hobbies; including all of the instruments I played. I just didn’t have enough energy to go out and play in recitals or take lessons anymore. If you play an instrument I’d strongly suggest that you find ways to work around it such as taking eMedia Guitar Method courses. You may have to change your hobbies but don’t be like me and eliminate them completely.

I just remembered what my previous post it note about “You need a mirror: Nate show” was about. I cracked the code and it’s something I really want for myself. On the Nate Show a woman had written in to nominate a friend for a makeover. She was in the audience explaining why her friend needs this makeover. Nate said that he really liked the mantel piece behind her on the submission tape but it needs a mirror over it. Then he handed her one and she wasn’t even the person who wanted to have the makeover done.
That’s exactly what I want for myself. I want to be so in love with my job that I do it constantly; even when I don’t need to. I want that kind of joy from my work. I’m fortunate that I’ve been able to keep working with fibromyalgia at all; but that’s the next step for me: to really fall in love with what I do.

If you work online as a blogger or do anything with SEO then this past week has probably been a pretty tough one for you. Sometimes the roller coaster effect of this job really is the most difficult part of the whole job. I also know this stress can make my fibro worse so I have to be really careful with how I handle it. For some people they might even need to check their Thyroid Profile. However, all I need to do is turn on the TV and look at either Mob Wives, or Kell on Earth and I love my job again. Granted, neither of these have anything to do with my field of work. However, it just reminds me how really difficult other people’s lives are or how they have so much to handle at work even if they’re an intern. Where do you get your perspective from?
