Do Naps Help Fibromyalgia?

I was reading about fibromyalgia and I can’t find the article anymore but it was on an authority medical site. At first I laughed. It said that fibromyalgia fatigue isn’t really helped by naps. It was funny to me because it’s obvious. It’s a medical condition it’s not just being tired. I find that there’s a base line with my fibro fatigue but things can really get a lot worse from there if I don’t take care of myself. The few times in my life I’ve tried to cut out naps it’s been a disaster. They won’t cure you but I do think it helps. Any other fibromites out there who believe in naps?

I have found that naps are essential to my well being. I might not take a nap every day but I do take napsat least 3 times a week. I used to feel guilty napping while the husband works hard and the kids are in school, but if it makes me a better mom and wife I’m going to do it.

Naps? oh my yes I have to have naps normally in the afternoon but somedays it is time for a nap right after breakfast. When ever my fibro body says tired I will nap.
