How Do You Organize Your Home Office?

This is one of those areas where I’ve really had to balance fibromyalgia and my working life. I’m unable to work at a desk because no matter what configuration I try it ends up hurting my back. So I usually end up working on the couch. This makes organization difficult because I really don’t have a dedicated office space. Luckily, I do have a pretty pink laptop.

My biggest problem right now is what I call “cord mountain”. Scaling it would probably be a viable part of diets that work. It’s where all of my different chargers and cords are scattered. There is just no pretty way to decorate it or at the very least make it practical. I know that there are docking stations out there but I need something bigger that will accommodate my laptop cord. Any suggestions?

Hi there. You can find tips for organizing a office on my website. To help with your back, you might try getting an ergonomic back chair. Most people don’t realize how important good office furniture is to your overall health.
