Do You Have to be Optimistic to Run a Home Business?
This is something I’ve often pondered. Even though I’ve been working from home running blogs and websites for several years I have made just enough to get by. Considering how bad my fibromyalgia is, this has been a major feat. When I first started out I was sure that I was going to be the next big blogger.
Several years later with my new need for the best anti wrinkle cream from all of the stress sometimes I waver. I’ve branched out into a lot of different arenas and tried a lot of things that have failed. The one constant reminds: I will do whatever I can to make this work. It will work because I really don’t have any other options.
I think you have to be somewhat optimistic to be in this business. You also need to be realistic which is a careful balance. You need to believe enough to invest in your own sites or work for smaller companies who may make it big. You have to believe that the company you work for, your blog or just the Internet in general will survive long enough to make it worth your time. It takes a certain degree of risk and definitely perseverance. What do you think?
