I just found your blog....it's nice to meet you. I am a 38 year old Fibro and Sjogrens patient. Life is hard. Real Hard. And it is worse when you dont have many people that understand. Im glad I found your blog because the more fibro patients I meet....the better I feel about myself. Please stop by my blog sometimes....and I will be following you!

I love how you put this: the main event. So true. Right now, my Main Event is to get through the rest of this school year intact. I'm a full-time teacher (high school) and a full-time grad student. Fibro isn't my only health concern. I've had 12 surgical procedures in the last four years. I'm kinda going crazy.

The only way I get by is that I have THE best husband in the world; he does all the cooking, all the shopping, all the worrying about bills and money. He fills all my prescriptions, he does the vast majority of the driving.

I HATE being this dependent--I've always been fiercely independent--but it's just what has to be, and, fortunately, he's a terrific guy who doesn't make me feel weak in the process. That's important.

Best to you and all of your Main Events!

I know exactly what you mean. I have so many to-do's on my plate that I need another plate. Plus, my step-daughter (who lives in Connecticut and is moving to California) is several months pregnant with twins! If my husband and I don't get caught up in her pregnancy and relocation challenges, it will be a miracle. And all of this... at the same time as I'm trying to stay healthy while balancing 15 plates in the air!

Sending you my best wishes for your trip, dear. All I can say is plan, plan, plan. Plan everything that you can think of to make yourself comfortable and even-keeled. The more you look out after you, the better the whole adventure will be for everyone. Congratulatory good wishes to you all! Cinda Crawford

PS- Such a coincidence this is, LOL, I'm blogging tomorrow on the Health Matters Show about stress! Drop by and leave a comment if you have time :-))

Hi,
What are you doing to manage your fibro. Since the end of December I have been doing a few things that have really turned my life around. I eat gluten free and organic, take a few vitamins, and have switched to organic cleaning products. You wouldn't believe the difference it has made and it's cheaper than the other way I was living aka taking a dozen medications, buying chemical cleaning products, and quick and easy food.
