Where Everybody Knows Your Name
When you work online for other companies you get used to not being appreciated. It’s a lot like any sort of corporate work in the real world but you get to be in your jammies. You also know that your job can always be taken away at any moment and given to someone else and no these are not good feelings. Sometimes the online world just seems so unfriendly.
This is exactly why I have a different personal blog that I don’t monetize or promote in any way. It’s not in any niche. I don’t complain about my work there because that seems unprofessional. It’s a low traffic blog, no keywords, no monetization and a template that I picked solely because it’s pretty. I don’t have to worry that much about my grammar and I can just be me. It’s just nice to have a place where everybody knows your name.

It is hard sitting all day behind a computer to feel appreciated. I think you have a great idea to setup a regular blog just to chat and where everybody knows your name!
