Hi Sarakastic,

Thank you so much for your letter to us "normals." My sister has FM and I'm reading as many blogs and joining as many forums as I can, in an effort to understand. She gets frustrated with me and letters like yours are very helpful. Would you mind if I posted it on our forum at fibro free life? I'm just thinking of a guy on there whose wife has fibro, and apparently they've been fighting a lot and he feels really bad about not saying/doing the right thing...i think this letter would help him.

Sincerely,
Kivlan

So well said. I went shopping on Saturday - promised the kid. Two hours in a mall? Almost killed me. OK, not really but it certainly put me back in bed for several hours more.

Still, sometimes I think we need to choose the pain. I know that sounds whack but if we keep hesitating, I'm afraid life will pass us by.

No easy answers.
