Residual Income Writing Site Review
It’s been about a year since I started in on residual income sites. Since then I’ve started working for upfront pay. This means that I don’t have the time I used to for residual sites. I do still try to work for them on the side because I really want that income to be there when I’m not feeling well or my upfront pay jobs aren’t working out the way that I’d like them to. So after a year here is my review of different residual sites:
eHow: When I first started looking into residual income eHow was the place to be. There were tons of e-books from people claiming to make a thousand a month or more from eHow in passive income. I bought all these books and learned basic SEO. I was able to put up several hundred articles but never saw the earnings that others claimed. Since then, a lot of the top earners have left for greener pastures. There have been massive article sweeps and bugs that have turned off a lot of people. I will leave my articles up because they earn me about $200 a month. I really am not concentrating on adding anymore articles because it seems like the more I put up the less I make. I just don’t seem to have the gift to make over $1,000 a month there like some people.
Bukisa: This site basically pays per unique impression. This is a great place to put content that will drive a lot of traffic. I am not that great at driving a lot of traffic. They also have a referral program so if you’re good at that, then Bukisa might be the place for you.
Infobarrel: You sign up for this site and use your own adsense idea. You get anywhere from 75%-90% of the impressions. It basically offers everything but the kitchen sinks. The standard is 75, but you can earn a higher percentage by writing a certain amount for the monthly contests. The quality of this site is high because you have to have your first few articles reviewed and approved. Of all the residual sites I’ve decided to concentrate the most on infobarrel. I really believe that it can grow which will benefit the entire community.
The one place that I had never considered for residual income before were my own sites. I blog and that takes constant updating and monitoring. Plus, I’d never been able to rank well enough on my own. With all of the frustration at the various residual companies I really wanted to get control over my work and content again. I like being able to throw in the odd sentence fragment. So I’m really going to focus on building sites that target keywords with low competition. I’ll use the residual sites to promote those sites and I can make my own rules. (Within reason of course)

I dont think so upfront can pay this much, its not really a good idea, i think you should go for some thing else.
