When I first started building websites there was such a sense of excitement. I was coding everything by hand; this was back before I knew about Wordpress and blogging. I would have to spend hours on each page. It was so exciting, I was sure that this was the page that would finally take off.

I thought that my ideas really mattered instead of just focusing on SEO. I always had plans to expand and add live chat to the site or build a forum. I would be giddy about my latest endeavor and show it off to all of my friends. Now, it’s just run of the mill for me. I dread putting up new sites or writing on new subjects. It’s common place now. I want that excitement back, that belief. Now, I am more realistic about my earning power and I don’t know if that really is just holding me back in the long run.
