Climate Update
I am doing so well that sometimes I forget how bad my fibromyalgia was just a few months ago before I moved to a quieter, less stressful environment with a lower elevation and warmer temperatures. Sometimes I think that I should be getting out more or making more money. Then I realize what a miracle it is that I’m able to take care of my own apartment, get my own food, and work enough to pay all the bills. I have what appears to be a normal life, maybe a low key life, but a normal one.
Compare this to the fact that I could hardly get out of bed all winter. There is still a lot of pain, the change in climate and elevation hasn’t changed that. I still get tired. I still need a decent insurance quote. I doubt I would feel well enough to work outside the home. I still need to set my own schedule and not sit in chairs. Life is just more manageable. I think that I’ll really notice a difference this winter when I’m dealing with 60 degree temperatures instead of living with several feet of snow.
