Club Bing Review
I really enjoyed getting all the stuff for free from the Live Search Club, like the Roomba, Kitchen Aid blender, George Foreman grill, Zune and a bunch of Zune accessories. When it changed to Club Bing a lot of people started complaining about not getting their prizes. It seems in the name change that they also changed the rules. It’s rumored that they’ll only let you have one account per household. Previously Club Live let you have as many accounts you wanted. Their only rules were that you could only send one of each prize to the household. I don’t know if Club Bing grandfathered in all the multiple accounts or just stopped sending the prizes.
I play legitimately but I haven’t ordered much since the switch because they need to iron out the rules and I’m not in love with any of the prizes. I did order a book and a few DVDs. I got the book but not the DVDs. I know that with Live Search Club they just kinda seemed to flag accounts and then send prizes out at random. I understand that they need to protect themselves from cheaters and I’m all for that. I haven’t been playing anymore just because I don’t have the time or motivation. What has been your experience with Club Bing?

I didn’t know about Live Search Club, so Bing was my first contact with the games.
First I find them to be incredibly boring for the most part. Secondly, while I understand the need to make sure people don’t cheat, I type fast and the constant popping up of verification codes is very very annoying. Thirdly, this seems to happen several times a day–where the points won for some reason isn’t added to my account–this especially happens when you max out on a game. But I’ve had it happen when suddenly the game seems to disconnect. The games are too laborious and boring to deal with this for any length of time.
Fourth, for some reason last week, they took away about 3000 of my points. No explanation, nothing. I have no clue why. This is disheartening to say the least.
I find the shipping time frame to be ridiculous. It took me eight weeks to get a kitchen timer. Now I ordered a Foreman Grill which they still haven’t confirmed and it has been over a week (checking points etc). Then it says eight to twelve weeks to get here. This is up to a three month lag between order and received?
I understand they are most likely trying to prevent cheating, people ordering tons of stuff and then turning around and selling it on eBay etc., but I find this to be a really a turn off after playing these games for hours in order to amass the points. I was originally trying to get a Zune, but then ordered the kitchen timer and the grill when Zune came out with their new HD version.
Now I seem to be addicted to — let me win a few more points in case something really grabs me!
Which is probably their intent.
And after all of this grief with the slow games, the boring games, the nonawarding of points, the taking away of points etc–I’m still a Google fan. Don’t care for the Bing search engine. I find using google to aid my gaming for facts, figures etc., – well the query answers are much better, more concise, and more relevant than the Bing answers.

I have had a largely positive experience both with Club Live and now with Club Bing.
I have found the site http://clublivemadness.blogspot.com to be a great resource for people who want to accumulate tickets as quickly as possible without cheating with bots. That guy has got a ton of stuff from Bing. He uses multiple accounts and seems to have no trouble getting his prizes.
