Hourly VS. Residual
One of the reasons that I’m trying to make so much money this month is so that I can focus on my residual writing for a few weeks. I always need the money upfront so I have to deal with editors and writing titles not of my choosing. I am paid per article, but the sum seems paltry when you compare it to what a lot of people make online. I think for someone of my health and in the current economic climate, it works out to a decent hourly wage.
I guess people scoff at it because I’m 1. Selling writing to do it & 2. Making money online in a specified time period instead of making money while I sleep. I think all of those “Checks come to me all I have to do is walk to the mailbox” commercials have spoiled us. With my health as bad as it is I’m lucky to make anything let alone enough to support myself. I definately want to build up my residual income more so I have a cushion and I can focus on my health and happiness instead of working all the time. However, I’ve tried all different kinds of residual writing places. I’ve bought and read all the ebooks. I’ve done the SEO & keyword research. For some reason, I just can’t get there. I have close to 400 residual articles that make me next to nothing. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.
