The Writing Experiment
I said awhile ago that I was going to do better about organizing my experiments. That is what the experiment page is for: putting all of the posts together in one tidy spot. It didn’t so much happen that way. I haven’t been doing monthly experiments lately because I’m still working on the one from last November. I’m trying to see if writing articles for other companies is more lucrative than blogging.

I’m really keen to see how the experiment goes. If you get known for writing in a particular niche I can see your earnings going up per article. The same applies for blogging, but with article writing you can do as much or as little as you want on and off and not drop your earning potential per article. If you neglect your blog, earnings drop off.

these companies are just some of the many writing companies. but the name is not what people are looking for, it is the article itself.

I don’t think that writing articles for other companies is more lucrative than blogging. For me blogging is the number money making business online. I have heard lots of bloggers who have become millionaire because of blogging.

I have yet to make money on my blog, mainly because I’ve been very stubborn about not putting any ads on it. I haven’t made much money at writing articles, either. This may be because I just started, but the sweatshop wages offered out there for good and bad writing alike isn’t very encouraging.
Well, that was cheery. I actually just wanted to say that I stumbled over your blog tonight and I’m really enjoying it. It’s not easy to maintain a fibro blog that doesn’t make the reader want to commit suicide. I just came out of the closet on my own blog yesterday by mentioning fibro for the first time. Now we’ll see how it goes.
Anyway, I like your blog and I wish you all the best. You and I are dealing with many of the same issues in a similar way. More power to you.
