Change up your workout
There are only a few workouts that I can do with fibromyalgia that do more good than harm. So, during the winter when I can’t get out & walk I alternate between one tae bo workout & one Pilate’s work out. Needless to say, this gets monotonous after awhile. I get so bored with it that I dread it more than I dread working out (which is a lot). I know what the instructor is going to say before they say it.
I find that it’s helpful to mute the TV. I turn on Pandora. Everyday I use a different station. When a song fits the movements perfectly, it’s like being in a ballet. I get so involved in the song that I forget that I’m working out.

Would you be willing to share more details of which workouts you use? I’m so frustrated with my exercises (or lack thereof). I like some of them, but they result in days of extreme pain afterward, and I get tired of them quickly. Any input is appreciated!

Could you explain what fibromyalgia is? I tried searching for it, but couldn’t get any clear answers.
