I broke the blog

I don’t know what happened to all of my comments.  It seems that anything left in the past few weeks just up & disappeared.  I didn’t moderate them or mark them as spam or even look at them wrong.  If this happened to one your comments I’m truly sorry.  Hopefully, when I blink they will call come back.

Update:  For some reason Akismet kicked into overdrive & that’s where all of the comments were hiding.  I went through everything & got them all out.

    Who knows if this will even get through, I’m not a fan of Akismet for the reasons you expressed. I had one blog lose about 95% of USEFUL and helpful comments because of Akismet going in and doing whatever they did. I use everything but Akismet on my blogs now.

    Out of curiosity which plugins do you use besides Akismet? I was google searching why I was coming up with blank pages and finally figured out it is that little bugger! Not fun to find out that I probably lost a good following of readers and comments because the program didn’t like them.
