I just want it to make sense

I know that I get sicker when I don’t sleep. I know that I am in more pain when I work too much, or undergo too much stress. I can deal with that. It’s just the randomness of fibromyalgia that is getting on my nerves. I can’t ever seem to make plans because I don’t know if it’s going to be a good day or a bad one.

I always try to get my work done the second I’m aware that something needs to be done, because I never know if I’m going to be too sick before my deadlines. I just wish there was some sort of pattern. Even when I’m doing everything I know how to in order to stay healthy, I still have random bad days. I just guess the focus needs to be on reducing the bad days to as few as possible.

I Can Make You Thin: The Finale

I thought the finale to I Can Make You Thin was quite anti climatic. I was expecting people to have lost massive amounts of weight like they do on reality shows. Most people in the studio audience seems to have lost 8-10 lbs. That’s about how much I lost. Fibro was really bad so my idea of exercise was hanging out by the air purifiers.

It may not seem like much but that’s a healthy amount of weight to lose in 4 weeks, anythign over that would be excessive. I’m really happy with the results, & I’m definately going to keep this up because by now it’s just a habit. I watched every epiisode of the show. There were lots of techniques to overcome emotional eating. However, I mostly just stuck to the four golden rules.

I saw it on tv so it must be true

I just saw this random fact on a commercial. I was so stunned by it that I didn’t even pay attention to what the commercial was for. I would’ve needed low vision aids to see the organization or business who sponsored this.

It said that for every hour of vigorous exercise that you do, you add two hours to your life expectancy. Granted you also just spent an hour of life exercising. Those are pretty impressive numbers. Do you think it’s true? Does it motivate you to exercise? Once again, it pays to watch TV.
