Roomba 530 review
I was so excited when I got my roomba 530 free from live search club. Vacuuming had become really difficult with fibromyalgia. My back/arms would be sore after cleaning just one room. Plus, I had to carry the vacuum up the stairs which was impossible.
Negatives:
I have to clean the roomba after pretty much every use. This takes about 5 minutes, which is about how long it would take me to vacuum.
The battery life only seems to last about 30-45 minutes or about long enough to clean one small room.
The roomba works fine on a neutral colored carpet, but on a darker carpet it still leaves behind a lot of lint that shows.
It always seems to be telling me to clean it or inspect the wheels.
Positives:
Even though I have to clean out the roomba, it’s much easier on my muscles than actually vacuuming.
It picks up a lot of dirt.
I vacuum a lot more because it doesn’t hurt my muscles.
It’s a robot, how cool is that?
Light & easy to move around.
It has an automatic edge detection so it doesn’t fall down the stairs.
Overall, I would be disappointed if I had spent a few hundred dollars on this. However, since it was free it’s a nice added bonus that really helps with the housework.

How on earth did you get a Roomba 530 free???? I have Fibromyalgia and would love a “free” one!!!
Take care,
Susie
I got it playing games from the free msn site live search club. It took me about a month to earn it & 3 months for them to ship it, but it was definitely worth it.
Mine is still on the way
Its already two months
God knows when it will arrive.
wow that thing looks awesome… id love one of those to just toss on the floor before having guests come over.

I always wondered about these. Thanks for sharing the review.
I wish I could have one of those! I think my dog would probably end up attacking it though!
I should be receiving mine in the next couple weeks
Sebastien, I will get it in next 3 weeks. Wish to try it.
