They don’t call it fantastico for nothing

Before I switched to Bluehost, I had to upgrade all of my wordpress installations by hand. It was about a six hour project. I called it my “blogging chores” It’s the equivalent of cleaning your room when you’re a kid, maybe even less fun than that. However, it has to be done because the wordpress upgrades usually include security fixes.

So, I was excited to try upgrading with fantastico. The die hard wordpress aficionados seemed to stick to upgrading by hand. However, I have seven wordpress blogs. I made sure my backups were in order, & it took me under ten minutes to upgrade all of my blogs. All in all, it eliminated human error. It was like a regular upgrade on testosterone boosters. They don’t call it fantastico for nothing. Do you upgrade with fantastico?

I Can Make You Thin: My biggest struggle so far

So far the I Can Make You Thin plan has been really easy to follow. A big part of it seems to be slowing down & eating consciously. This means not eating in front of the TV like I usually do.

I had heard about this theory in college. I didn’t try it then because I was a poor college student & couldn’t afford to eat food that I actually liked. I’d complain about how disgusting something was, & then sit down with a book & the next thing I realized is that the bowl of disgusting pasta was gone. This is what I’m trying to avoid. I miss the TV, but being able to really enjoy food is worth it.

I can make you thin

Well ok, I can’t make you thin. However, there is a book & new TV show on TLC by the same title. I’ve decided to make this one of my monthly experiments. I’m going to watch the show & do what Paul Mckenna tells me to. I don’t necessarily want to diet.

I wouldn’t mind losing 10-15 lbs. At this point though, I just want to stop gaining weight. I know that diet’s don’t work, I just want to be able to have a healthy relationship with food so maybe I won’t need high risk life insurance later in life, although it’s nice to know it’s there. Has anyone else tried the 4 Golden Rules?
