Defying Gravity

I often joke that gravity is my biggest enemy. With fibromyalgia, it feels like gravity is just weighing me down. More likely, it’s just fatigue but I get more laughs if I say gravity. So when I heard the song “Defying Gravity” from the musical Wicked it really inspired me. It has nothing to do with health or fibromyalgia. However, I listen to it when I need inspiration. What inspires you to fight fibromyalgia even though it’s not fibromyalgia related?

  1. Oh boy, can I relate to the problem with gravity! When I’m tossing and turning in bed like a rotisserie, trying in vain to find a comfortable position, I imagine what it would be like to lie on a cloud, weightless. I am most comfortable in a deep hot tub but we don’t have one. Anyway the effect only lasts as long as I’m half floating over the seat of the hot tub. As soon as I get out, there’s that pesky gravity to deal with again.

  2. There are many people in the world who has fear of something. So i think fibromyalgia can be cure by regular meditation and couselling.

  3. Delightful,

when searching around for Fibrin related websites, this was the last thing I expected to encounter. Provided a rather surreal but nonetheless welcome break from work for a few mins.
