My Favorite Blog Carnival
Every few months my favorite blogging carnival comes to town. Today is such a day. Basically lots of people from all over the blogosphere come together to give away free stuff on their blogs & the links are kept in one place. There’s a few simple rules to follow that you can read by clicking on the above graphic. Here’s why I love this carnival so much:
- I entered my Random Acts of Bling contest in the carnival & so far I’m seeing a lot of comments & traffic.
- I also get to visit a lot of blogs that I wouldn’t know about otherwise.
- Everyone offers whatever they want for a prize, from gift cards, cameras, web design & baby strollers. There is even some jewelry up for grabs, both silver & gold. Hopefully someone will offer gold lockets. So far there are over 450+ contests just posted today.
- It’s free both to enter the contests & to post your contest.
- It’s simple, you can start & end your contest anytime during the week. You just enter the contest by visiting the blogs & commenting. The person running the contest pays shipping & so the contests are usually limited to the United States.
- I’ve never won anything from these contests, but just considering the possibility is nice.
It’s a great way to find new blogs to read & f ind new people to read your blog.

This is a great share. I will surely check it out. Maybe there will be an offer for a unique letter opener for my wife.
