My second biggest blogging fear
I’ve decided to change my web host. This is my second biggest blogging fear because I’ve never done it before. My biggest blogging fear is, well I don’t know. I guess my biggest blogging fear is transferring hosts. I’m terrified because my blog is just too pretty to lose.
So hopefully I will be back in a few days documenting about how I pulled out my hair, I mean how everything went smoothly. Did I learn nothing about positive thinking from the Secret Experiment?

Yes you have learned! You will do fine
hope everything will go smoothly, dont be so scared. wishing you all the best.
Well, you should fear less of changing host and more of keeping a bad host that fail you when you need it the most.
Scary! Good luck on the move.
:O)
You have a very good reason to be scared. Learned you have, indeed! Keep those blogs coming. More power.
You don’t need to fear. I have done hosting changing twice in six years already, and always came out triumphantly. Make sure you back up everything to the HDD of your computer before initiating the move. Because it’ll take up to 3 days for your new IP address to resolve or propagate throughout the Internet and your site to be seen at the new address, it is also advisable to open the new account and transfer your website files days before canceling with your present hosting provider. I have to agree, transferring hosts is something you don’t want to do. Especially with blog traffic being so sensitive compared to niche site traffic.
