		<description>Hi there,
Just found your blog and wanted to contribute. First, I am 39 and was diagnosed with Fibro in July of this year. Second, I am the Executive Director of a non profit...a job I had before I was diagnosed, and a job I intend to keep...

It isn't easy working in a high stress career, generally more than 40 hours per week...but I am proof it can be done.

When I read other people's stories, particularly if they are very active, I tend to assume they are fortunate enough not to have the worst case scenario of fibro. So, in case you see things the same way, I want to let you know that I think I have a fairly difficult case. I don't have days without pain, I have all of the lovely accompanying illnesses, like IBS, migraines, miscellaneous skin rashes, etc...but, I am finding ways to creatively deal with that crap, and still be productive...in work and at home.

So, I have no other point, except to say that you can have a great life with fibro, and you can be empoyed in a way that is fulfilling...and I hope this is encouraging in some small way...

Happy Holidays,
JA</description>
