Well that’s something to brag about

I’ve written about a drug thats supposed to help with restless leg syndrome & ends up causing an urgency to gamble. I’ve even written about a sleeping drug that warns on it’s commercials that it might cause bouts of amnesia.

I like to make fun of the pharmaceutical world. It makes me feel better about the fact that if I need a medicine for my stomach, one of it’s side effects is always “may cause stomach irritation & nausea”. At least I don’t have bouts of gambling amnesia. I just saw a commercial that bragged that “It has never been taken off the market”. That’s not really comforting. Are there other drug companies out there touting “Only been taken off the market once” or “Only 3 out of 4 doctors hate this drug.”?

    Oh, these drugs can be tricky. It’s good that somebody tries to bring its dirty side out in the open.. It’s funny side too.. heheh.

    I usually avoid reading the package inserts - I once did and got really scared, so I don’t do it anymore… ;)

    Yes I heard about this, causing people to become addicts to alot of things.
    I keep away from all drugs, I thing some can just cause more problems
