Other girls my age are dreaming of finding deals on designer handbags & shoes. Meanwhile, I’m sitting here wishing that I had health insurance. I have it in my head that I’ll be turned down or I can’t afford it. The truth is that I just haven’t looked into it because I just don’t think it’s a possibility. I was quoted an astronomical price a decade ago & I’ve just always thought that was the way it would always be. Now that I’m writing this, I see how uninformed I am.
I might get turned down, but it wouldn’t hurt to ask.

Wow - I could not imagine not having health insurance with all of my health problems. It is expensive enough even with what the insurance covers that we have to pay out of pocket. We would be living on the streets if it wasn’t for our health insurance.
How do you do it with having FM? It has to be a huge financial burden.
