This post has been brought to you by pain

I was thinking about Sesame Street today. (Yes, my mind works in wondrous & mysterious ways). I remember how at the end of every show they say something like “This show has been brought to you by the letter Z & Viewers like you”. Today, the prevailing theme in my life hasn’t been the letter Z, it’s been pain.

It’s the general thinking if you want to make money blogging that you need to post once a day, or several times a day. I work on my blogs all day, most everyday. I don’t always post everyday on this blog because let’s face it, I’m cranky, I’m sick & I don’t see how it’s constructive sharing that with the world.

I went on a small shopping trip today & then to an art gallery, all things that I like to do. However, right now it feels like my muscles have been sunburned & now they are being run through a paper shredder, all while they are still in my body. It’s just frustrating that there is so much in life that I can’t enjoy. It really drove home to me about how important it is that I keep my home business going because I really can’t leave the house everyday.

Like you, I have several blogs. I love writing on them but some days I just feel so bad I wonder why did I start all of them? My Fighting Fatigue website is my big passion though and what keeps me going and inspires me to write at least five days a week is all of the great emails and comments I get from readers.

Sometimes you wonder if what you are doing is really making a difference and when I hear from my readers and others about how my website has helped them, it means a lot and it is a great feeling. It gives me purpose and I know that I am ill for a reason.

Writing everyday helps give your site more exposure to the search engines and increase your traffic. It also helps bring RSS subscribers long term. Sorry to hear about your illness, you seem like a nice respectful person.
