Shhh, my business is sleeping

Summer is killing my business. Hopefully, it’s just napping. Ironically, this is the time when I really need to be working to get ready for the Christmas season. It’s just very difficult to do when I’m not making a lot of money. My inner conflict goes something like this…

Work hard, it will pay off in the end. Things will pick up in a few months, & when they do, you will be ready for them. Good things come to those who wait.

Psstt, look at me over here, your shoulder devil as “The Emperor’s New Groove” would say. Fine, you like your job, you think it is fun. You know what is even more fun? Watching seven seasons of “Gilmore Girls”. You know what is even more fun than that? Throwing a tantrum when your business doesn’t go the way you want it & putting ketchup packets on your keyboard & then hitting them with a hammer.

I’m sure that it’s just a summer lull. This is really my first one, so I’ll try to hold off on the ketchup packets…for now.

    Definitely hold off on the ketchup packets… The angel is right!

    Don’t worry about the summer lull in business. Unless you sell ice cream, it’s pretty typical. My blog always experiences a lull in the summers and on the weekends.
