Ewww day two
Ok, so I just finished up a lot of the EWWW stuff, which is the project I am doing to try to clean up all the odds & ends around the old business, all the stuff that I know I should do but never get around to because it isn’t fun. I tightened up the templates, I deleted all the bookmarks & rss feeds that I don’t use. It’s a task that I have been thinking about for months. I’ve just refused to do it, & it took 11 minutes. Yes, 11 entire minutes. It wasn’t worth all the worry I’ve put into it, & I really should just take care of issues as I think of them. The only problem is that for everything that I finish, I seem to think of three or four more things to do. I really need to start writing these down on a list so I don’t lay awake at night thinking "Remember, don’t forget, remember".
I’m always interested in the role that humor has in the workplace. I think that my personality is one of my best assets. However if I’m dealing with lots of different people it’s a given that about only 35% will really find me funny. That leaves a lot of room open for people to be confused & offended.
