Adapt

Going over all of the business myths has made me realize how naive I was when I started out.  There is a good red vs. blue cartoon that basically states think back five years, you were an idiot, five years from now you will be thinking the same thing.  I know that there is still so much more for me to learn, so many more business myths to be busted. I think the most important thing is to never give up. That was a little too motivational speaker sounding.  Or like that poster of a cat that is always in libraries that says "Hang in there".  However, there are so many discouraging times both behind & ahead of me, that I have to remember to keep going.  Where I think my business is going to end up, probably isn’t where it is going.  I just have to enjoy the ride & learn to adapt.

Well don’t give up! Everyone has to learn to adapt one day. That’s life, like it or not. And I’m just begining to learn more about it as well.

Your post really hit home with me today. I’m going through some similar feelings. But we have to keep pushing forward. The alternative is to give up. And that’s not an option.

Every business has its ups and downs. You’re not alone, we all go through it at one time or another. Just hang it there, it will get better :)

I know exactly what you mean. I was never a business major, but I have a lot of friends that were. My mindset changed quite a bit in the last year. I feel like I have such a long ways to go. You have a great mindset about everything. I wish you the best of luck with your business and I am sure I will feel just as stupid in five years!
