Focus
I’ve tried just about everything to get help with pain management. Some things like massage, or hypnosis, work really well. I tend to be a huge skeptic, I don’t think there is one cure for everything, things that have worked for other people, haven’t worked for me. In general though, anything that helps me relax means that I will sleep better, & if I sleep better than my body has more time to heal.
However, I am in pain every single day, I can’t afford to go to a hypnotist or a massage therapist everyday. So I try to learn different self healing techniques. I know several people that have completely been able to get rid of their symptoms this way, I personally haven’t. However, since it’s all about changing your destructive thought patterns & really focusing in on what you want & how to get there, I don’t see any harm in it. There really isn’t anything to lose, at the very least I get a better outlook on life.
