Business Myth #8 Busted
I thought that I would be working with people less on the internet, but it ended up being more. Plus, I would get nice surprises such as rude comments or having to worry about hackers. At first, this was hard to deal with, but the people are what makes the internet. This is why we were voted Times People of the Year. I like that if someone is rude to me, I have the time & space to step back & think. I have the opportunity to put things in prospective. I try to comment on other’s blogs in only encouraging ways because I never know what they are going through, or how a rude comment might upset them. I can make friends without having to wear shoes, which has been the killer of many of my real life friendships. I had to realize that my business is made up of people & I’m glad that I did.

Excellent points. I got into blogging in the middle of last year and thought that it would be a relatively solitary pursuit. That’s not the case at all though! In between the various PTB communities and visiting new blogs, I find that I’m interacting with people a great deal.
It’s a wonderful experience!
