Big Bad Tough Business Woman
I try to be a big, bad, tough business woman. I try to have a tough skin. However, some things bother me. I try to be courteous to other people, even to the extent of curbing my sarcasm, or as I like to call it, Saracasm. I was sitting around waiting for the entire blogosphere to come up with a code of conduct (which we really should), but I’ve decided to become more proactive.
I will treat people as kindly as possible, I will have a code of conduct for this blog. I can’t make people be nice to me, but I can have some rules about how to deal with things when I’m not treated the way I like. Mark, who is the author of the above article makes a very good point, a blog is like a house. Some people forget to wipe their feet when they come in, & that’s fine. However, when people willingly sling mud into my house, I’m going to clean it up. The truth is that most of us are trying to run online businesses & I just don’t think that we have to attack each other. We will all get a lot further if we are kind & help each other instead of tearing each other down.
