Business myth #2 busted
Last time I wrote about the idea that internet income is residual. For a long time, this was all there was. "Come join our pyramid scheme, we call it multi-level-marketing it’s completely different". In a way, I do depend on other people for my business, the whole internet depends on each other to provide links, readers & customers, but I didn’t want to have to recruit them. I didn’t want to have to sell them. wanted them to be able to come of their own free will & not have to do any actions, just be able to find the information they were looking for & hopefully make them smile in the process. There is legitimate work online out there that pays well. However, it is work, it is as consuming as a "real job" if not more so. It takes just as many hours, if not more so. There are some income streams that will keep paying you, as long as you have readers & traffic coming in, but that still takes a lot of hard work. I know a lot of bloggers will agree with me that this takes work everyday, for hours on end, & most of us can’t just walk out to our mailbox & pull out a pile of money.
