Living on $6.50 an hour…& staying happy

If you run your own internet business like I do, you’ve probably been depressed if you ever sat down to figure out how much you make per hour. In the early days, I probably made $.7 an hour tops.

So it was interesting to read this article about living on $6.50 an hour. It’s the story of a woman who lost her professional job at 52. She even lived in a campground for awhile. She works two jobs. Like most people I know, a trip to the hospital would mean she would have to go on welfare.

However, she has some really great tips on how to budget money & not feel sorry for yourself. Her readers even asked her where they could give her money & she turned it down, saying they should help someone closer to them. I admire her for making her life work. It can be scary living on that amount of income, but a lot of people don’t have a choice. So it’s good to know how to make a life for yourself.
