One less worry
There are millions of ways to lose your data & only one way to save it, back up. I read through the testimonials on their site & people are genuinely & even profoundly grateful for their service & for helping them when they needed it. I’ve never lost anything serious, but I do stay awake some nights wondering what would happen if I lost “it all”, everything I have spent hundreds of hours working on. What would I do? Now I don’t have to worry.

The first thought which struck me when I chanced upon your blog was “just another product”.
Iam a girl who works from home on my computer and need to constantly update my files. I have always believed in backing up my files onto DVD, which I felt was the most simple and economical method to do backup of my important data, music, video, photo files.
But you know, I can’t do backup everyday because that would take up a lot of my time. Normally, I go on weekends to my mom’s place in Newark to spend the weekend with her. Though I really enjoy myself there, I have to constantly remind myself that I have to do my backup onto the DVD as soon as I return home.
I was not convinced with what you wrote until out of curiosity, I actually visited the site of these guys who call their service “IBackup”. And I should admit that it’s really good. To know more, I opted for their free limited trail version “IBackup for Windows” and found out some great features.
There is one particular feature called “Scheduled Backups” that caught my attention. I found out this automatically schedules my backup for any future date/ time I want. This means that I don’t have to worry whether I have backed my critical files which I have been working on the previous day. Moreover I don’t have to be physically present when my backup needs to be done. When I am away from home (spending the weekend in Newark) and I get a creepy feeling whether my backup has been done, all I have to do is to check my mail. And there it is ! A e-mail message giving complete details about the backup process is delivered to my mailbox. I can also restore the same data from IBackup to my computer with just a matter of few clicks.
My friend, who is a customer of another online backup service called Carbonite informed me that she could not backup files larger than 2GB as there were severe download restrictions. Moreover it was frustratingly slow. She sounded really disappointed. I was lucky in that aspect as there is no restriction on file size in IBackup.
Being a self employed person who works from home, I am personally satisfied that I made the right choice in time.
