They could be true…
There are some things that I know aren’t true, but I hold onto them anyways. We all have them. I’ve collected them from lots of people. I have several food myths that I know aren’t true, but I still pretend they are such as:
Chocolate: it has over 800 chemicals in it, some of them have to be good for you.
Corn Chips: Healthy (well as healthy as a vegetable can be once it is refined, bleached & then fried).
Cheese: a good source of protein. I’ve been told this by several people. Then one day I actually read the label before screaming “My eyes, My eyes. I did not just see that!”.
There is one food myth that I could do without: The crust of bread is where the vitamins are so you must eat it. It would be nice to not think that whenever I ate bread. I let these ideas remain in my head because who wouldn’t want to think nachos with a side of brownies was good for you? What are some of your food myths?
